The founder and driving force behind Curious Beast, Ken is responsible for envisioning and guiding the work and trajectory of the firm, and working closely with our clients and partners.
With 27 years of experience creating exhibitions and other types of experiences for museums and visitor centers of all stripes, Ken possesses a multi-faceted appreciation for the needs of such institutions, along with a keen understanding of the elements of storytelling and design fundamental to a satisfying visitor experience.
In addition to his work building Curious Beast, Ken’s experience includes work done recently for EDX Design in Seattle, WA, where he’s created interpretive exhibits for the National Parks Service; four years as the in-house exhibit designer for Pacific Science Center in Seattle, where he designed permanent and traveling exhibits with dozens of hands-on science interactives; and a stint at TPN, an events house based in Seattle, where he did shows and events for tech firm powerhouses.
Ken holds a BFA in industrial design from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, 1994.
